Saint Paschal Baylon Church

On November 19, after a busy morning with five Masses, a group of volunteers got together in the Parish Hall to prepare it for a special event: the 8th Annual Scalabrini Dinner.



By 4:30pm the Hall was full.
After Fr. Vincenzo's welcoming words, Fr. Ezio, local Superior of the Scalabrini Fathers, gave the invocation and the Youth served the food.

Everyone had a good time. Most of those present at the dinner have been attending this event year after year, celebrating the great figure of Blessed John Baptist Scalabrini and the work of his Missionaries.

Besides parishioners from St. Paschal's, all the other area Scalabrinian Parishes were well represented. A very large group came especially from St. Anthony's in Toronto. Others came from St Catherine's in Mississauga e from All Souls in Hamilton.

At the end everyone felt like a million dollar, and one by one left cheered and applauded by the Youth Group.
