Every year the Church celebrates the memorial of St. Paschal Baylon on May 17.
This year our community wanted to have a special commemoration of our Patron Saint and also include the variety of cultures in the parish.

Thus, on May 20th we organized a special event to celebrate St. Paschal and acknowledge the mosaic of colours and faces present in our midst.

At 1:00pm a huge crowd was ready to sing along with the youth group that was animating the celebration of the Eucharist. The athmosphere was vibrant and festive, and many familiar faces showed up for the event.

After Mass, a lot of people stayed for the pot luck luncheon. This was a special time to catch up with some old and new friends, and an opportunity to express the joy of belonging to this community.

The variety of food and sweets was overwhelming, and all went back to their tables with plates filled up to capacity.

While eating, the youth group put together a nice entertaining and program: songs in different languages and dances that captured the attention of everyone present in the hall.
We all realized one thing for sure: it does not take that much to be together, and it's really fun!
