Saint Paschal Baylon Church

From December 4 to 8, our Parish was blessed with the presence of Fr. Isaia Birollo, Superior General of the Scalabrini fathers, who conducted a series of Advent reflections to prepare the community for the up coming Christmas celebrations.
Fr. Isaia, who was stationed at St. Paschal about 35 years ago was truly impressed with the changes that took place in the last few years and because of the attendance at our weekend Masses.

Every evening, Mass was at 7:30pm, followed by a 30 minute talk, and ended with the benediction with the Blessed Sacrament.


His talks were primarily a commentary on the Pope's letter "God is Love".
The Advent mission culminated with the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, and Fr. Isaia was the main homilist at all our Masses.


Fr. General is now back in Rome, preparing for the imminent General Council.
